Will Women and Men be Equal in Heaven?
Complementarians say no. Google A.I. has no Idea.
Here is the A.I. answer to the question of gender equality in Heaven: “The question of whether men and women will be equal in heaven is complex and varies among different theological perspectives.”… “Ultimately, the discussion around gender equality in heaven reflects broader theological questions about identity, purpose, and the nature of the afterlife.”
Pure garbage. All of it.
For one thing, God created every human in his image, autonomously equal to one another, now, in this life. That’s not going to change in Heaven.
Even the most rabid complementarians admit no sign of gender inequality can be found in the creation account of Genesis chapter one. And only by refusing to recognize the descriptiveness (as opposed to prescriptiveness) in Genesis chapter three, can any twisted claim be made that God promoted the man and cursed the woman in Genesis 3:16.
Add that to what Jesus said to those who did not even believe in a resurrection ((Luke 20:36—or equality of the sexes for that matter), that in the resurrection we would all be just like the angels.
How much clearer can it get?
Traditional role religion and complementarianism are men wanting to be gods and women worshipping their man-gods, and it is sin. Pure and simple.
